How Much Can One Truly Know

Do you ever have moments when you realize the comprehension of everything in your life is quite little. It's in these moments I feel like a dab of genius fluid was dropped on my brain giving me just enough insight to understand how much I don't know in life.

It's in these moments I wonder if our mind was created not to completely comprehend our existence. Possibly as a way to keep us under control protecting us from spiraling out of control any faster than our current potential.

I don't believe we were created to be lab rats, I think that to be quite the opposite. I think we were meant to work under a certain confine for our own good. I hope that one day I will completely understand, but I don't think it will be in this world.

To me this is quite profound, Steve. Plato illustrated this with two overlapping circles of Belief and Truth (googling said "in his 'Theaetetus'").
It makes since to me seeing this is the Ichthus; Jesus being the Truth, perception in Love being my only true belief. Take care & thanks.

In college I had to take a lot of math classes. As I began my fourth semester of Calculus, I wondered to myself if I would soon know all the Calculus there was to know, since the university only offered four courses to take. At some point, however, I can remember having an "ah-ha" moment, and realizing that the bit of Calculus that I had so far learned was only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. It was as if the roof of my house were suddenly removed by a tornado, and the sky itself, not the ceiling, was shown to be the true upper bound. I was humbled.
