A mythical figure from Mennonite lore, Pumpkin Man was the defender of the crop. Some say it was a bagpipe, or Hurdy Gurdy they could hear in the field.
I think I have solved that mystery. What makes a two year old want to go legend? If this isn't a passing phase I will be protecting Asher's identity for the rest of his life.
This last picture was taken when Greyson heard the tune of Pumpkin Man outside on the front porch. Greyson didn't have to tell me, his eyes told me, "Pumpkin Man is here".
